Which links are affiliate links
Every outbound link that could earn us a commission goes through the address /go/ on this domain. If a button or link takes you somewhere off this site by way of /go/, it is an affiliate link. Links between our own pages are not.
Those links are marked for search engines as sponsored, so no one, human or crawler, is misled about the relationship.
How it affects what we write
It does not change the conclusions. Where an app has a real drawback, we say so, because a reader who signs up expecting something an app does not do cancels within the week, and a cancelled trial earns nothing. Honesty is the commercially sensible position as well as the right one.
We do not accept payment for reviews, we do not publish sponsored posts, and no company we link to sees an article before it is published.
